An updated take on Mac and Cheese, this creamy baked pasta will be your new favorite comfort food.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Macaroni Elbow Pasta
  • 1/2 cup Reserved Pasta Water
  • 6 oz White Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 10 ounces La Terra Fina Everything But The Bagel Dip & Spread
  • 6 strips Cooked Bacon, chopped or crumbled
  • 3/4 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 1-2 tbsp. Olive Oil or Melted Butter
  • Salt & Black Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water.
  3. Transfer the drained pasta back into the warm pot. Add the shredded cheese and La Terra Fina Everything But The Bagel Dip & Spread. Add 1/4 cup of the pasta water. Stir together over low heat until the cheese is melted, and the pasta is coated in the creamy sauce. Add the reserved pasta water as needed to reach desired consistency.
  4. Stir in the cooked bacon. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  5. Transfer the mac n cheese to a baking dish.
  6. Toss together the melted butter and breadcrumbs to be well-combined. Evenly spread on top of the mac n cheese.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
  8. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Enjoy warm!
