Classic white chili elevated with a touch of Southwest spice.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
  • 1 4-oz can chopped green chiles
  • 1 15-oz can cannellini beans
  • 4 cups low-sodium chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 10-oz. container La Terra Fina Southwest Fiesta with Black Beans & Corn Dip & Spread, divided
  • Cilantro and lime wedges, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté for 4-5 minutes, until translucent.
  2. Add the ground pork and sauté the pork and onion together for 5-8 minutes, until the pork is fully cooked.
  3. Add the cumin, garlic powder, oregano, and cayenne and sauté for 1 minute, until fragrant.
  4. Add the green chiles, cannellini beans, and chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir in 6 oz La Terra Fina Southwest Fiesta with Black Beans & Corn Dip & Spread and continue to simmer uncovered for an additional 10 minutes.
  5. Spoon into serving bowls and garnish with lime wedges, cilantro, and the remaining 4 oz of Southwest Fiesta with Black Beans & Corn Dip & Spread Dip & Spread.
