These savory waffles with smoked salmon are "everything" your brunch guests want!


For the waffles:

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup La Terra Fina Everything Bagel Dip & Spread
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • Optional: cooking spray, for the waffle iron

For topping:


  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk the La Terra Fina Everything Bagel Dip & Spread, milk, butter, and eggs until evenly combined.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Whisk until combined in a smooth batter.
  4. Bring a waffle iron to medium heat and spray with oil if needed.
  5. Scoop about ⅓ cup of waffle batter onto the waffle iron. Close the iron and allow the waffle to cook until golden (cooking time will vary depending on your waffle iron but is typically 3-4 minutes), then remove from heat. Repeat until you have used up all of the batter.
  6. Serve the waffles warm. Top with a slice of smoked salmon and a generous dollop of La Terra Fina Everything Bagel Dip & Spread. Finish off by sprinkling on capers, red onion, and dill.
