Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Whisk until combined in a smooth batter.
Bring a waffle iron to medium heat and spray with oil if needed.
Scoop about ⅓ cup of waffle batter onto the waffle iron. Close the iron and allow the waffle to cook until golden (cooking time will vary depending on your waffle iron but is typically 3-4 minutes), then remove from heat. Repeat until you have used up all of the batter.
